Psychological wellness or positive mental health is defined as a state of well-being where a person realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, work productively and fruitfully, as well as make a contribution to his or her own community.


The World Health Organization has defined health in its constitution as, “Health is a state of physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."


Psychological wellness is related to the promotion of well-being, the prevention of mental disorders, and the treatment and rehabilitation of people affected by mental disorders.


With the increasing complexities in our world today and rising demands in our lives, it is important to have a strong psychological resilience in order to live a well-balanced and fulfilling life.
